Schedule of Operations
We invite you to visit the Grand Central Railroad Park as often as you can. Each day you will see different trains running based upon the GCRR Members present that day.
October through April - Scheduled days of operation start as early as possible in October (depending upon the weather and required maintenance) and continue through April from 9 am until 11 am:
- every Thursday
- every Friday
- every Saturday
Night Runs - In addition to the daytime schedule above, we operate at night several times each year...
from 6 pm until 7:30 pm on:
- Saturday BEFORE or AFTER Halloween
(whichever Saturday is closest) - Saturday AFTER Thanksgiving
- Saturday BEFORE or AFTER Christmas
(whichever Saturday is closest, unless it falls on Christmas eve) - And from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm on: Saturday BEFORE Easter Sunday
The night runs provide a totally different experience with many of the buildings illuminated and the lights on the trains are quite dramatic.
